Current Division II Standings
Anybody know our group's current standings? GMSA takes forever to update their website, so I'm just curious how all the teams stand.

Re: Current Division II Standings
Right now it's us, CFC, and Pride vying for the top spot. Probably be that way all season. I expect those two to be our biggest games, and they're a week of each other (April 25th and May 2nd). Hopefully people won't jet out for Musicfest on that Sunday against CFC (Anyone that doesn't play that Sunday to go see Chevelle or 3 Doors Down is a dork). Luckily both games are at 7:30. Plenty of time for hangover recovery.
Next 2 games are TN United and Benchwarmers. Hopefully we'll roll through them. Weather should be great for both of these games.

I will go on and say anyone missing the game for Chevelle or 3 Doors Down is a vagina and/or a communist.

I will miss the May 2nd game due to a bachelor party in Tampa. I am neither a Vagina nor a Communist.

Perfectly acceptable reason for missing a game. Unless it's a bachelor party for someone in 3 Doors Down.

I think Pride is going to be our biggest game. It's April 25th at 7:30.
This coming Sunday April 18th is against Bench Warmers. They're like Hanmaum. We should put the hurt on them.

Anyone know the scores of the Pride/Waves, CFC/Bench Warmers, and Arsenal/Arirang games yesterday?

Pride beat Waves 1-0. I'm sure CFC beat Benchwarmers. It would be good for us if Arirang beat Arsenal, but I haven't seen the score posted on that.
I still think it will probably come down to us beating Pride and CFC. Those two will be with us for winning the league. If I had to pick one as a must win, it would be Pride on 4/25 at 7:30.

Heading back Sunday afternoon. If I make it back in time, yeah, I'll be there. but I'd put it as doubtful.

I'm sure you all got the text. Benchwarmers forfeited this Sunday's (April 18th) game.

Arsenal beat CFC last night. We still need to beat CFC. Arsenal look like they're making a run for the top, so hopefully someone else will beat them. If we beat CFC and Arsenal lose one more, then we clinch the league.

Re: Current Division II Standings
Quick recap. Nutbush beat Arsenal last night. We're ahead of them no matter what happens.
CFC still have to run a gauntlet of games (Arirang, Pride, TN United, and us). They are the only team that could statistically go ahead of us. If they lose any of those (not including us), and we beat Nutbush - we clinch. They play Pride on the field next to us during The Natural Light derby against Nutbush. We are their next to last game of the season before they play TN United. Arirang and Pride are no slouches, so CFC could conceivably get a loss and a draw and that would also mean we clinch (regardless of the outcome of our games).
I'm not sure how much money the tourney pays out, but a division win and a tourney win should mean we can afford a real nice kit for next season.

You're welcome!
We started out with 8 (with me as keeper) and they had 7, they finished with a sub and we wound up playing with 10. Looking forward to our game and running Ysaac over!

Yeah right, wuss. You know both of us are just going to laugh at each other when we're out on the field.
