My bad tonight guys. I played like crap in spite of everyone else's great effort...and I caused that bogus PK.

Free kick on the edge of the area. Even Rafa said it. It was a good match, nonetheless. Calls went both ways, yada yada. We've had some good shit go our way this season, and we certainly don't complain about that. They disallowed a goal that Matt swears he didn't foul the keeper on. Oh well. Let's use it tomorrow night.

We still clinch if we beat CFC. We have Corey, Adam, Vato, and possibly Cody out for CFC tomorrow. Cross your fingers for a rainout. If that doesn't happen, let's just play angry as fuck.

Actually Paul, It was totally my fault. I settled that pass too far away from myself and lost it. The ball should've never gotten to that point.

I have to apologize for a subpar performance, too, guys. For the first time in a long time, however, we got out-efforted. I think we got dealt a pretty hefty psychological blow after the PK, as well. At worst, we should've tied them and I just lost that ball on the ridiculous first goal.

Judging by the downpour on my office roof right now, we may get thrown a lifesaver and have a rain out. I've got my fingers crossed... who the hell wants to play at 8:30 on a Thursday night anyway.

Cross your fingers for rain. Might be a chance we will just play in it if the weather doesn't pick up. I should know by 3pm, and will check any updates if the status changes. Usually if they give the "game on" by 3pm we will play unless the rain picks up substantially. Refs will happily ref in the rain for money.

I'll post as soon as I know something about the makeup. CFC already has a game this Sunday and Wednesday. Not sure if they will throw them in on Monday or Tuesday, but I'm almost thinking they will. I'll text everyone as soon as I find out. Let's win this division.

CFC beat TN United 1-0. Even if they lose to Pride on Wednesday, we still have to beat them. Basically, same plan we had earlier.

Anyone know how Cody is doing? What kind of injury was it?

He's fine. Hung out with him on Saturday for a bit.

CFC plays Pride on Wednesday. If CFC wins, that means both of you will have identical records going into your match on Thursday. Should that scenario play out, your match on Thursday will be played under tournament final rules...that is, if you are tied after 90 minutes on Thursday (which would leave both of you still tied on points, and in head-to-head record), we will proceed immediately to 20 minutes of extra time (two 10-minute halves), followed by kicks from the mark per FIFA, if necessary. (This scenario occurs ONLY if CFC wins on Wednesday...any other result, and this will just be a regular match.)

Reason being for all this is that those other tie breakers do not decide first place. Head to head play does. It all basically says in this crazy scenario we all tie, then Arsenal is still in the running because they beat CFC and in this imaginary scenario CFC beat us and lost to Pride (hence the 3-way tie).

Let's just beat CFC and call it a season.
