Free Kick's & PK'S

We need to figure out who is going to take free kicks that are in shooting range as well as PK’s. I don’t think it should be just whoever. I think we should figure out who wants to do it then get together and all shoot some balls and see what we come up with.

What are your thoughts?

Free Kicks and corners are something up for grab.

Well unless we can find an actual goal to take a free kick on to determine, we might as well just say 'first to grab and place the ball'

Just drove by Freeman park today and the nets are up!!!

Corey said Bartlett has their nets up now. Although I would laugh really hard to see everyone chasing the ball for free kicks. Personally I don't give a rats in the back field as long as you can send the ball up. Set pieces are something else altogether that we'll have a little talk about.

Well me and Ryan had some sweet goals off of set pieces last season. We really blew some pk's last season. I certainly don't mind taking them. I don't won't to see as many wasted opportunities. On set pieces like 30-40 out we really need mid field and forwards to pack in and go for the ball around the center of the goal. I can't recall how many times I would have 2 people to kick the ball too in a sea of the other team. New team now with some of the same faces so they know what I am talking about and what we can avoid going forward.
