...go to Soccer Stix on Poplar/Kirby Pkwy. All their boots, balls, shin guards - everything in the store is 50% off as they are closing down both stores (the one across from Mike Rose is already closed, in fact, and all the merchandise from that store has been sent to Pop./Kirby).

Craig / Steven - You guys might want to get out there, too. They have a ton of keeper gear (gloves, pads, jerseys) in every size on sale.

Too bad, although I can't say I'm surprised. The store was dark, poorly stocked and the people that worked there acted like they'd wish you'd leave. It was depressing!

And frankly, you can get everything you want for less pretty quickly online. Not good for local jobs or the local economy, but a definite fact of life these days.
