SUMMER LEAGUE

We doing this? I'm not forking out almost $200 by myself again if we do.

I will play and pay BEFORE the season starts.

That's 4. Only way I'm down is if we can get 10-11 of us. That would be less than $20 a person for whole summer league 6 matches.

For around $20/person, count me in.

Well that's enough. We need at least 9 so I'm going to assume some other people on our team will play some games. If I can get six people to give me $20, then I'm fine on the money.

Don't worry about bringing your frayser jerseys. Just be sure to bring a white and a dark shirt (doesn't matter what color the dark shirt is as long as it isn't a light gray). We don't need player cards and you can always bring a friend if they want to play a little if we have room. It's essentially semi-organized pick up soccer.

I would like for our team to let me know if they are definitely NOT going to play summer. If I get a ton of "NOTs" then I can always pick up a couple players from the message board. Summer league is so hot it's brutal. I want at least 2-3 subs to every game.

Byron - don't bother wearing a long sleeve keeper kit unless it breathes some kind of ridiculous. Not sure if you guys have played Summer League, but the heat is borderline abusive. Great for conditioning, though... or in my case great for sweating out the toxins from the weekend.

Black and White wifebeaters sound pretty sweet to me.

John rocks the sleeveless black shirts. He's a sleeveless kinda guy, though.

Summer season will begin on Sunday, June 21. On Sundays for 6-7 weeks. I'll post the schedule as soon as I get it. I believe the games are from 1pm to 7pm at the latest.

How did the first summer game go? Did we win?

Nah. Only had 4-5 people show, but we got some pickups. Other team won by a couple. It's Summer League. Mainly there for conditioning and getting touches in before Fall.
